You too, can be Great

Here at The Lodge at Spruce Creek there is one place that is easy to feel at home as soon as you arrive.  Oh the Great Room…even the five leather couches, numerous oversized leather chairs, and larger than life coffee tables have a hard time filling up the room. With almost 2,000 square feet of floor space this space with its several different seating areas, is perfect for allowing everyone to find their “own” spot to relax.  Encased in windows on three sides this room is drenched in sunlight at certain times of the day, almost making you feel like you are eavesdropping on the beautiful views outside.  The Canadian Spruce logs stretch to cathedral heights as their trusses cross the the room over your head at 40 foot spans.  The custom built fireplace mantel and hearth seem dwarfed by the room, and their true massive size is not appreciated until you admire it up close and realize that they both are cut from one solid piece of lumber.  Glossy stained concrete floors fool most into believing they are walking on a gigantic granite slab, (by the way the floors are heated, so leave your shoes at the door so you can really appreciate their warmth). Centrally located is a 47″ TV, that vies for your attention along with the oversized gas fireplace.  Taking up one entire corner of the Great Room is an 18 foot breakfast bar, that seats 10. Also adjacent is the formal dining room. Its rustic table seats 14.  So no matter where you find yourself in this room, you’ll think to yourself, this is pretty great.
